Oh, Happy Day!!!

I wish I could have been there for that special moment when my wonderful big sister got to hold her son. Although he seemed so small in her arms, she seemed so small to me. As I looked through the pictures, it reminded me of the pictures of Katharine holding our little brothers: Danny when she was only 3 and then Ryan when she was 13!! Although she is a beautiful, grown woman and a mother now, I could not help but notice that child-like spirit and spark in her eyes as she looked down at her little angel...so hopeful but so helpless...wanting to give him the world but not seeming to realize that his world right now is his mommy and daddy. That is what he knows and as special a moment that was for you, Katharine, I am certain that for Elias, that was THE MOMENT he has been waiting for! God bless you all! With each passing day is another sunrise and another day of growth and blessing from heaven!I love you all! Please continue to remind Elias each day that Aunt Kim and Uncle Rick are always thinking about him!
