Elias is getting a lot more sleep now that he is in the isolation room. It really seems to be doing him wonders. His colostomy bag was leaking yesterday when we got there. We went to help change it and he was just laying there smiling away until the end of the process when he got a little tired of being moved around. Usually he is a lot more fussy so the nap times he is getting certainly seems to help. They are adding neosure to his breast milk in addition to the milk fortifier (for calcium) to 26 calories because they are not seeing the weight gain they would like.
Tomorrow we hope to talk to the surgeon about the plan for his airway. We should also get a date for the next family meeting. As for today, we are just going to visit and hopefully play with Elias a little.
