Elias doing better, at times

The course of medicines Elias began last Thursday seem to be helping tremendously. The emecis is down and his secretions are decreasing in volume. Yesterday Katharine suctioned out a very large thick mucus plug, which seemed to be contributing to breathing issues by obstructing his airway.  This morning however he has been extremely cranky, crying almost non stop and unable to sleep. His ostomy bag fell off twice overnight with the second requiring a full bath, he had stool all over him. He was extremely over stimulated and the lack of sleep is evident by his demeanor this morning. It is really a shame because he had a pretty good day yesterday. It would be nice for him to be able to enjoy feeling well for a stretch, rather than spotty times here and there. We were able to get a few photos of Elias yesterday too! We know everyone is starving for some updated pictures. He just has not been feeling well enough. Hopefully, I will get some time today to upload them, it might be tomorrow though.
