Mommy & Daddy's 4 Year Wedding Anniversary

Elias is doing well. We hope you enjoyed the photos yesterday. They certainly made our day much brighter. They started feeds with an NJ tube yesterday afternoon. He is still on Si Pap, but they are hoping to test him off it today for about an hour. Not much else going on at the moment, just a lot waiting! Today is our 4 year wedding anniversary. The experiences we have shared with Elias these past 17 months have been obviously less than we had dreamed. However, Elias strength and our love for him has also strengthened our love for each other. We have a deeper appreciation of our family and cherish the moments we have together as one, even if it is in a hospital. We are blessed to have each other and even more so to have Elias. In honor of today, we share a slide show of our perfect wedding day 4 years ago. It was the beginning of a strong and lasting partnership and marriage that has seen us through these rocky times and given us an amazing son with a tremendous spirit!
